"DISCOVER THE WINES OF HUNGARY" EVENT GENERATES TREMENDOUS EXCITEMENT
AMONG U.S. WINE & FOOD MEDIA ABOUT HUNGARIAN WINES

New York, New York, February 5, 2004

More than 200 distinguished members of the media and U.S wine industry attended the "Discover the Wines of Hungary" event held tonight at the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary. Three leading distributors poured some of Hungary's top wines from several viticultural regions, accompanied by traditional culinary delights prepared by the Consulate's Executive Chef Mr. Nándor Bereczky. Media response was enthusiastic to the broad range of quality wines, which have only recently penetrated the U.S. market.

Wine Country International magazine and The Hungarian National Tourist Office organized the event to celebrate the release of WCI's Harvest/New Year issue. The magazine's in-depth cover story, "From Bull's Blood to Youngbloods," examines Hungary's (re-) emerging wine industry. The Iron Curtain has given way to velvet ropes in this red-hot tourist destination. Budapest is now a bustling hub city for Eastern Europe, living up to its reputation as "the Paris of the East." Hungary's resourceful vintners and producers are rapidly reclaiming a rich tradition of winemaking that 45 years of Communist rule nearly eradicated. Media and special guests toasted the Hungarian wine industry's journey from revolution to revelation at the packed event.

Riedel Crystal of America, the world's leading manufacturer of high quality stemware, also generously supported the event by providing Riedel glasses to maximize attendees' enjoyment of the wines.

    WINE COUNTRY INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE
TARGETS ASPIRING WINE & FOOD ENTHUSIASTS
WHO TOUR THE WORLD'S WINE REGIONS

    October 23, 2003, Broomfield, Colorado

Wine Country Network, Inc, a multi-platform media company, dedicated to promoting domestic and international wine region touring for all types of wine enthusiasts, has launched their premier issue of Wine Country International Magazine, a quarterly, four-color publication with distribution throughout the US and Canada.

After two years of planning and implementation, Wine Country Network has released the premier issue of Wine Country International, a photography-rich wine/food/lifestyle magazine specifically designed to reach wine country travelers and vacationers.

Christopher J. Davies, CEO of Wine Country Network, commented, "Today there are more vineyards and wineries than ever before. For the first time wine is produced commercially in all 50 states. In 2002, over 25 million people visited wineries in the US. We feel that the timing for the launch of our magazine and members could not be better."

Wine Country International Magazine is dedicated to increasing the knowledge and enjoyment of wine, food and travel---not just to the world's great wine regions, but to destinations whose restaurants and festivals celebrate the grape. Though aimed at enthusiasts, our editorial contributors (wine experts, travel-photojournalists, culinary professionals and celebrity chef-restaurateurs) blend fresh content with inside, cutting-edge information---in everyday language. Every issue includes up-to-date industry developments, a fun "Wine 101" insert with witty cartoons, in-depth travel articles, food & entertainment tips and recipes and unrated wine recommendations. Vivid color photography using the latest digital equipment and contemporary, stunning design will make each issue an instant collectible.

Co-founder Darcy Davies has extensive corporate design experience working with Fortune 50 companies, including designing Lockheed Martin's annual reports. Darcy is Design Director of the magazine.

Subscribers to the magazine ($24 annual cost) are automatically enrolled in the money-saving Wine Country Network Club. Club members receive a personalized membership card that entitles them to discounts on wine purchases, fine dining and travel, as well as complimentary tastings & tours. The club card can be used at more than 150 vendors nationwide and in Canada.

Additional club benefits include a monthly e-mail newsletter containing insider tips about new wine releases and highlighted restaurants and resorts, as well as the annual subscription to Wine Country International magazine.

Wine industry support of the project has been encouraging; more than 150 vendors have signed on, providing hundreds of dollars in club benefits and distributing the magazine in top winery tasting rooms, restaurants and lodgings. Club vendors/distributors include Washington's Chateau Ste. Michelle, Sonoma's Schug Estate Winery and New York's Brotherhood Winery. Riedel Crystal of America, Omni Hotels and the Lodi Winegrape Commission are among the industry leaders making major advertising commitments.

The indie publisher plans a 75,000-copy Harvest/Holiday printing in December, as well as four 2004 issues with circulation escalating to 200,000 copies by the end of next year. WCN is also developing a magazine-format cable TV show for 2004. A pilot about Long Island's wine region has received a "green light" letter from PBS affiliate WLIW Channel 21. "Yanni Live at the Acropolis" producer George Veras and "NBC 2003 Olympics" producer Jeff Filippi are involved with the project.
